The Armorer subclass of the Artificer also has the Tools of the Trade feature when they take the subclass at third level.
Tools of the Trade gives the Armorer proficiency with heavy armor and smith's tools. (Or a different type of artisan's tools if they already have it.)
An Artificer doesn't normally have proficiency in heavy armor but the Armorer gets it automatically at the same time they get the Arcane Armor feature.
