As a player, I enjoy the role-playing part of a game more than combat. My style of playing will often include wisecracks, quips, and other "witty" remarks directed at both other players and NPCs.

However, I'm afraid that this can be seen as hogging the stage, so to speak - since I'll respond to what others are saying, including NPCs, this could be seen as trying to take the spotlight.

How can I, as a player, make sure I'm not hogging the stage and am allowing other players to enjoyably interact as well?
