A tag had lost magically according to Post History

history

In the above picture according to history it says that Mark Giraffe had added definition tag. Then, Mithical had added support tag (But, somehow two definition tag had arisen in left diff). Later, definition tag had gone magically.

What I think that is, Mithical had added support tag to migrate that question to Meta category. Later, she had removed definition tag maybe.

But, post history doesn't explain where definition tag had gone.

When I have visited that history page again, I had seen that now, the support tag have became secrets (in history only). Even, in Initial Revision that tag have become secrets. (Is magic happening?)

More weird thing, when I click on secrets tag it directs me to this page (Note : Category ID is Meta). Although, it shows Q&A question. Even, there's no secret tags in Meta.

The history doesn't record category changes (known issue). To create the post on Meta it needed one of the required tags, so I think Mithical probably created the "support" tag before moving so that the post could be moved. (That is a known issue too -- we need a way to apply tags as part of changing category. It's on the list.)

The original "definition" and new "support" tag then remained in Q&A, with zero posts. I've now deleted them.

I was saying that Mithical had deleted definition tag. But, history doesn't show it.

Even, history #2 shows that there was 2 definition tag (look at left diff)

deleted user - correct, I removed the [definition] tag and replaced it with a [support] tag before moving it to Meta. I'm unsure why that's not reflected in the history.

Is magic happening? Now, support tag have become secret magically (in history only). Even, the first tag have became secrets (initial post)

deleted user we can't delete tags outright, so the way to make a tag go away is to merge it into another tag. When there are no posts with the tag it shouldn't matter which tag you choose. I merged it into support; I didn't realize it would produce visible effects.
